PC Chen and PC Harvey and PCSO Lindsay were out on foot patrol around the Etihad Stadium giving fans advice on parking around the stadium due to vehicle crime. On match days there is an increase in Vehicle crime which includes theft from vehicle due to the owner leaving personal belonging on show and theft of vehicle due to the owner leaving there vehicle in unlit areas. It’s always advisable to avoid parking in dark and secluded areas. It’s worth an extra five or ten-minute walk if it means your vehicle is left in a well-lit and busier street.
